Everything here is written plainly, because you should be able to read it. If anything is unclear, message me and I will explain it in my own words.

What I collect
Only what you send me. When you message on WhatsApp I receive your phone number, your name as it appears on your account, and whatever you choose to write. If we agree an order, I also hold the delivery address and any details needed to make and send the piece.
The Arcana quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent anywhere and I never see them unless you tell me your result yourself.
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no tracking pixels. Visiting it leaves me with nothing about you.
Why I hold it, and on what legal basis
| Answering your questions | Legitimate interest, and your own request |
|---|---|
| Making and sending an order | Performance of our agreement |
| Invoices and tax records | Legal obligation under Portuguese law |
| The Substack letters | Your consent, withdrawn by unsubscribing |
What happens in a reading
What you say during a reading is private and I do not record sessions, keep notes about you, or discuss what was said with anyone. Some of what people bring to a reading is sensitive, and it stays in the room.
Who else sees your data
Only where it is unavoidable: WhatsApp (owned by Meta) carries our messages, the postal or courier service receives your delivery address, my accountant handles invoices, and Substack holds your email if you subscribe to the letters. I do not sell or share your details with anyone else, ever.
WhatsApp and Substack are operated from the United States and transfers rely on the standard safeguards those companies have in place. If you would rather not use WhatsApp, email works just as well.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within about a year. Order records and invoices are kept for ten years because Portuguese tax law requires it. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict how I use it, receive it in a portable form, or object to my using it at all. Ask and I will do it, normally within a month, at no cost.
If you think I have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados ( cnpd.pt ), the Portuguese supervisory authority. I would rather you told me first, but that is your right.
Two
Order conditions
There is no checkout, so here is when an order exists
Everything is agreed in conversation. Nothing on this website is an offer you can accept by clicking, and taking the quiz commits you to nothing. An order exists only once I have described the piece, told you the price and the expected date, and you have confirmed in writing that you want it. Up to that moment you owe nothing.
I will confirm the agreed piece, price and timing back to you in a message, so we both have the same version in writing.
Prices
Made-to-order pieces are between €34 and €43 depending on the stones and the design. Readings are €25 for five questions, €45 for thirty minutes and €80 for a full hour. Prices include any tax due and are confirmed before you commit. Shipping within Portugal is quoted with the piece.
Payment is arranged when we agree the order. For commissions I may ask for payment in full or in part before I begin, since the materials are bought for you specifically.
What you will actually receive
Every piece is made individually by hand. Natural stones vary in colour, marking and shape, so your piece will resemble what we discussed without being identical to any photograph. That variation is the point rather than a defect.
Timing depends on materials and on what else is in the workshop. I will give you a realistic date before you commit and tell you honestly if something slips.
Shipping
Shipping is currently within Portugal only. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph it and tell me within a few days and we will sort it out.
If something is wrong with the piece
You have the legal guarantee owed to consumers under Portuguese law: three years from delivery for goods that are faulty or not as described. Tell me and I will repair it, replace it, or refund you. Ordinary wear, tarnish from perfume or water, and breakage from an accident are not faults, but message me anyway because most things can be repaired.
Readings, and what they are not
A reading is a reflective conversation offered for personal insight. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, it does not predict the future, and no particular outcome is promised. Decisions you make afterwards remain yours. Readings are for adults aged eighteen and over.
If you need to move a booked session, give me at least twenty-four hours and we will find another time. Sessions missed without notice cannot be refunded.
Photographs and words on this site
The images, text and designs here are mine. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking. Portuguese law applies, and the courts of Lisbon have jurisdiction, though nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Cancellation and returns
Cancellation and returns
Because we agree everything at a distance, EU distance-selling rules apply. Here is exactly where you stand.
- Before I start making
- Cancel freely and receive a full refund. Just tell me. Nothing has been cut, strung or ordered yet.
- Once work has begun
- A made-to-order piece is personalised, so the fourteen-day withdrawal right does not apply once I have started. Ask anyway and I will be fair about materials already bought.
- Readings
- Cancel or move a session up to twenty-four hours before and you are refunded in full. Once a reading has taken place it cannot be refunded.
The fourteen-day right, in plain terms
For ordinary goods bought at a distance you normally have fourteen days from delivery to change your mind for any reason. Under Article 17 of Decreto-Lei 24/2014, that right does not extend to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, which is what a commissioned piece is. I tell you this before you commit rather than after, and by confirming an order you acknowledge it.
A reading booked for a specific date and time is a leisure service tied to that slot, so the fourteen-day right does not apply to it either. My own twenty-four-hour policy above is more generous than the law requires.
None of this touches faulty goods
If a piece arrives broken, faulty or not as we described it, you are covered for three years regardless of anything above. Message me with a photograph and I will repair, replace or refund. I pay return postage in that case.
If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, you can go to a Portuguese consumer arbitration centre, or use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr .
Something here unclear?
Ask me directly. I would rather explain it in a sentence than have you guess.
